The HD3D-PLUS is a two channel HD/2K High Definition Video Player for presentation of high resolution videos. It can be used for passive and active 3D projections. The maximum frame rate for dual channel playback is 60 FPS per channel. It supports CineForm Codec (2K, 415 Mb/s per channel) for visually lossless video screening. CineForm is known as a visually perfect Codec for up to 4K film production workflow and widespread used.
UNLIMITED MULTI CHANNEL PLAYBACK, EDGE BLENDING, IMAGE WARPING AND AUTO CALIBRATION
Multiple units can be synchronized to virtually any size and shape of 2D and 3D projections. The HD3D-PLUS can do Edge Blending and Image Warping (for curved screen application) by default. The blending curve can be adjusted by gamma for each color – perfect blending is easily possible! The built-in warping and blending feature can also be combined with a camera based Auto Calibration System that measures changes in projector and surface positions and adjusts the warping parameters – a perfectly aligned projection can be achieved by just pressing a button.
QUALITY OF SERVICE REPORTS
In multi server scenarios, the HD+Software can monitor the quality of service for each playout channel and reports this to the control system. The control system can switch to backup machines in case a hardware failure occurs.
PRODUCTION TOOLS ON PLAYOUT SYSTEM
The HD+Software is interfacing CineForm’s Active Metadata™ technology to give content producers the flexibility to set White Balance, Color Gains, Color Offsets, Color Matrixes and 3D LUTs on the playout system without the need to do reencoding of the content. The image can be adjusted onsite under real screen and light conditions.
OPTIONAL SHOW CONTROL
If you need to control special effects frame synchronous to video playback, our timeline based show control is the right solution. It allows you to control any device that can be controlled through RS232, UDP or MIDI. Additionally, it supports different I/O devices f.e. Kissbox DMX1TR for DMX 512 output or WEIGL WEMC1 for DMX 512, analog, digital, servo, UDP and relays output. It is the ideal solution for 4D and 5D cinemas.
MOVIE LICENSING SYSTEM
The HD3D-PLUS implements a proprietary licensing system for copy protected contents. It allows content creators to distribute their movies with a strong encryption and grant playback of the movies on specific servers for a specific durations. The licenses are transferred over the internet with one of the safest authentication and encryption
methods currently available.
