Capture Input
A live signal from a capture card — SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort, ST 2110 or whatever else the card presents. Which section appears depends on the card the asset was created for: a Datapath card draws Capture Input, a Blackmagic Design card draws DeckLink Capture Input.

Name |
Editable name for the asset. |

Input |
Which physical input on the card to take, listed as |
|
Format |
Signal format. The card reports what it detects; set it explicitly when detection is ambiguous. |
|
Audio |

|
Allow FS 3D capture |
Accepts a frame-sequential 3D signal. |
|
Hold Last Frame |
Keeps the last received frame on screen when the signal drops, instead of going black. Choose deliberately: black makes a lost feed obvious, holding hides it. |
While the asset is playing, the signal line below the settings reads <width>x<height>, <rate> Hz, <signal type> — and STEREO when a frame-sequential 3D signal is locked. Queued samples and Tempo under it report the state of the incoming audio stream. They are diagnostics — a queue that grows steadily means the source and the server disagree about timing.
