NDI Output

Last updated 7 August 2026

Sends the rendered output onto the network as an NDI stream.

Properties

Field

Description

Sender Name

How the stream appears to receivers on the network.

Group

NDI group to publish into. Receivers outside the group do not see the stream.

Failover source

Another NDI source receivers should fall back to if this one stops.

Preset

Fills in resolution and frame rate together for a common format.

Width / Height

Resolution of the stream, which need not match the rendered surface.

Framerate

Rate the stream advertises.

Submission framerate

How often frames are actually handed to NDI. Lower than Framerate sends fewer frames than advertised — useful for a monitoring feed that should not cost a full stream's bandwidth.

NDI clocking

Lets NDI pace the stream to its own clock rather than the render loop.

Receive PTZ

Accepts pan/tilt/zoom commands from receivers.

NDI settings are not live — they apply on Apply. A ⚠ marker appears while changes are pending, and the stream keeps its previous settings until then.

Receive an NDI Stream — the other direction, taking NDI in Enable, resolution, colour, warping and the rest are the same on every visual output — see Visual Output Default Properties.
