Tessellation |
Subdivisions across width and height. A flat surface needs very few; raise it only if you intend to edit vertices, or to warp the surface into a shape. |
Changing a tessellation value regenerates the whole surface, and any mesh editing already applied to it is lost. Set the resolution before editing vertices, not after.
