GPU Output
A physical connector on the graphics card — the usual way an image leaves the server.
Properties
|
Field |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Presentation Mode |
How frames are handed to the display. |
|
Bit Depth |
Bits per colour channel. |
|
Encoding |
Signal encoding sent over the connector. |
|
Color Space |
The colour space the output declares. Default leaves it to the display. |
|
Col. Space Conversion |
Whether and how content is converted into that space. |
|
Color Primaries / Color Transfer |
The primaries and transfer function, for a display that needs them stated explicitly rather than inferred. |
|
Enable Blocking |
Blocks on present, tying the render loop to the display's refresh. |
|
Frame Rate |
Rate the output runs at. |
These settings describe what the display expects, not what improves the picture. Raising bit depth or changing primaries on an output whose display does not support them produces wrong colour, not better colour — check the display first.
