Dome
A section of a sphere — the shape of a planetarium or fulldome screen. The two border angles decide how much of the sphere the dome covers.

Changing a tessellation value regenerates the whole surface, and any mesh editing already applied to it is lost. Set the resolution before editing vertices, not after.
Cuts
Where the border angles set how much of the sphere the dome spans, the cuts take pieces back off it. Every one is given as the equator opening it leaves, so 360 means uncut — a dome with all three at 360 is the same dome as before.

Radial Opening Angle |
The azimuth kept around the dome's top, cut by two planes through the dome axis. 360 leaves the dome whole, 180 cuts half of it away. |

Radial Cut On One Side |
Takes the whole removed azimuth off one flank instead of splitting it evenly either side of the dome's top. Only available once the Radial Opening Angle is below 360 — at 360 there is nothing to take. |

Upper Cut Angle |
A horizontal trim plane above the dome's centre. 360 leaves the dome whole, 180 trims it level with the centre; it does not go below 180. |

Lower Cut Angle |
The same trim plane below the centre — the niveau a flying-theater screen starts at. 360 leaves the dome whole, 180 trims it level with the centre. |
