Getting Started with Brainsalt Hub
Everything needed to reach a Brainsalt server for the first time: what Brainsalt Hub is, how to find a server without knowing its address, and how to sign in once you have.
This is the very start of an installation. Until a server is reachable and signed in to, nothing else in this documentation can be done.

Do this in order

Install the desktop app. A browser works when you already know a server's IP; the app works when you do not.

Discover the server and give it an address that fits the site's network.

Sign in and change the factory password. It is the same on every machine we ship.
A server with no usable address is not a lost server. The desktop app finds machines over the local switch rather than by IP, so it sees a freshly imaged or misconfigured server that no browser could reach — and can set its address from there. If you are stuck at this stage, this is the way through.
Then
With the server reachable, move on to Server Configuration — user accounts and roles, the network settings in full, and the display and GPU setup that the show depends on.
