Brainsalt Hub - Set Up and Manage the Server

Brainsalt Hub is used to configure, and operate your Brainsalt B8/B9 media servers. It is an embedded Webpage and can be reached by browser by typing https:// + the server ip or name.

Alternatively, our Brainsalt Hub Desktop App allows to automatically find and configure servers, so best start with the Brainsalt Hub Desktop App to discover a server on your network, then open its System Management web interface, where nearly all configuration lives.

The order it happens in

Find the server and give it an address — the desktop app does this even when the server is on the wrong subnet or has no address at all.
Sign in and change the factory password, then create the accounts the site needs.
Configure the displays and outputs — EDID, Mosaic, output format, genlock, then hand the outputs to Backstage.
Back up the configuration once it is proven, and reboot once to confirm it comes back.
